How should I clean the pitcher?

We recommend that after each use, the pitcher be turned upside down and allowed to dry out. Periodically, you can remove the mineral cube and wash with warm sudsy water.

How often should I replace the mineral cube/basket?

The Vitalizer Plus™ is equipped with a digital timer that records that amount of running time. After 4000 minutes (approx. 65 hours), “CC” will appear on the digital display, indicating that it is time to “Change the Cube.” For a single person making one batch (.6 gallons) of 9-minute water every day, the mineral cube will last well over 1 year (15 months). Greater use will precipitate the replacement of the mineral basket more frequently. After replacing the mineral basket, simultaneously hold down both the “minutes” and the “start/stop” button for 3-4 seconds, with the power button on. This will clear the digital timer and you will notice that “CL” replaces the “CC” – ready for another 4000 minutes of operation.

What kind of minerals are in the mineral cube?

Calcium is the most predominant mineral in the mineral cube. It is provided from coral calcium—a natural form of calcium and other minerals. Coral calcium also contains other minerals in a balanced blend provided by nature. Tourmaline is also included because it adds negative ions and far infrared frequencies that resonate with the frequency of the water. It naturally alkalizes the water and helps to structure the water.

Should I leave the water in the Vitalizer Plus™ pitcher after spinning it?

No. Moving the water to another pitcher—preferably glass—is better for the water and it will extend the life of the mineral cube.
